Who I Am And Why I Care

I’ve been where you are - working long hours, missing important life events, burnout.

I’ve spent the last three decades in the trenches—most of it recovering failed projects - the results of bad leadership decisions. 

People in charge made bad situations worse by:

  • Mandating work on nights and weekends.
  • Overloading people, trying to get them to do more, faster.
  • Pushing people harder. Demanding more. 

I’ve been on the receiving end and it’s not fun. Or healthy. Or productive. Or endearing.

It shouldn’t be this way and I believe it doesn’t have to be. 

My background in technology and engineering taught me that many things can be systematized, including most skills leaders need.  And systems can be learned.

That’s what’s in my book and training programs, and what my coaching is based on.
